Westwood Hills Public Safety

Dial 911 for all emergencies

Police protection is provided by the Westwood Police Department. If you need an officer dispatched to your location, call the Johnson County Sheriff Dispatch at (913) 782-0720.  This number is staffed 24 hours a day.  For administrative matters, call (913) 362-3737. The administrative office, located in City Hall at 4700 Rainbow Boulevard, is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Fire protection for the City is provided by Consolidated Fire District No. 2, Northeast Johnson County, Kansas, from Station #2 at 63rd and Mission Road.

@9PM Routine from WWPD

Every night @9PM adopt these habits:

1.  Remove valuables from vehicles

2.  Lock vehicles’ doors and windows

3.  Take in mail, newspaper and door solicitations.

4.  Close windows, garage and exterior doors.

5.  Turn on exterior lights.

6.  Call 913 782 0720 or 911 if you see suspicious activity!
